Steps to check :

1. open this website link  https://www.irctc.co.in/online-charts/


2. Next step, enter Train Number and Journey Date and Boarding Station from you want to board train :

2. Next step, check in Dashboard for vacant berth on different coaches :
    
    2.1   click on any class (First AC, Second AC, Sleeper Class ) which ever you want to look for vacant             berth and proceed.


3.  after clicking on links in step 2.1, you will get list of vacant berth (from station - to station) it is available , you can book ticket for it or ask TTE to make confirm for you directly.
